We respect your right to control your personal data. Here's how to request deletion.
Your Right to Delete
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. Karlendar fully supports this right and provides multiple ways to delete your data.
Option 1: Self-Service Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly from your settings:
- Log in to your Karlendar account
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion by entering your password
This will immediately remove your account and begin the data deletion process.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, send a request to:
Please include:
- The email address associated with your account
- A brief statement requesting data deletion
- Any specific data you want deleted (or "all data")
We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Account data: Name, email, username, profile photo, preferences
- Scheduling data: Event types, availability schedules, date overrides
- Booking data: All bookings you organized, including invitee information
- Workflow data: Automated workflows and execution history
- Integration data: Connected calendar tokens, OAuth connections, CRM links
- Analytics data: Page views, conversion metrics, and usage statistics
- Payment data: Payment connection details (Stripe/payment history retained by payment provider)
What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for legal and operational reasons:
- Audit logs: Security-related logs retained for up to 90 days
- Legal obligations: Data required for tax, legal, or regulatory compliance
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics may be retained
- Backup retention: Encrypted backups are purged within 30 days
Third-Party Data
When you delete your Karlendar account, we revoke access tokens for connected services (Google, Microsoft, Zoom, etc.). However, data already shared with those services is governed by their own retention policies. You may need to contact them separately to delete data stored on their platforms.
Timeline
- 1Immediate: Account access revoked, sessions invalidated
- 2Within 24 hours: Personal data removed from active systems
- 3Within 30 days: Data purged from all backups and caches
- 4Within 90 days: Security audit logs expired
